According to Feeding America®, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, 70,930 people are struggling with hunger. In 2021, a study conducted by Feed America found 35,600 (16.6%) children in Prince George's County were food insecure.

As a part of Lifeline's Community Outreach’s food security initiative, Lifeline collaborates with local schools, businesses, community associations, food banks to provide families in need of free food.
